2018 Annual Training at Chewton – June 23-24

BSAR’s annual training weekend was held on 23-24 June 2018 at Chewton.

The weekend provided BSAR members and other interested experienced bushwalkers with training in skills for search and rescue.

The program included map and compass bush navigation and a GPS exercise on Saturday, and participation on the VRA 6 hour Rogaine on Sunday.

  • BSAR members with SSI rating “T” (technical leader) or “C” (competent).
  • Full BSAR members interested in acquiring SSI rating.
Members will receive an email with registration details.
